Royal Almost Black
Do you think this will look ok or strange? (Wedding clothes for the men)?
My bridesmaids are in pink and purple (3 different shades from light pink to almost a grape colour). I can’t match them to the 3 boys (cravats and waistcoats) so that is out of the question.
I thought of putting the boys in a sage (light green) cravat with a silver swirl waistcoat. My H2B wants to wear a royal lilac coloured cravat and black satin waistcoat.
Will this all look too random?? Having real trouble with this! Thanks

UPDATE – thanks everyone! I think we will put all of the boys in the royal lilac cravat and have my H2B in the black satin waistcoat to stand out and the others in a silver waistcoat.

Personally i think it would be fine. Love the royal lilac colour. its your wedding and if you and h2b are happy dont listen to anyone who says no.
For our wedding (too long ago now) I had my chief bridesmaid in a gorgeous lilac silk dress, the 2 little ones in floral..cream background with pink thro to deep grape flowers and fine sage green leaffy stuff(sounds awful but isnt) and the 2 pageboys in deep grape waistcoats and long shorts, cream shirts and red(yes really) shoes. The lapels of the waist coats and bow ties had a green/red pattern. I wore palest shell pink silk and our orders of service had pale green covers. I made all the outfits apart from mine which my Aunt made (it was her profession) and everyone said how lovely we all looked. Different but very ‘us’ and it worked. Hope this helps.
